I am recently retired from over 40 years of teaching Communication at various colleges and universities around the country. My husband is retired from teaching English and also from the Air Force. We live with our ultra-sophisticated Pomeranian Coquette in Aurora, Illinois, where I write two blogs-"Communication Exchange" and "Subjective Soup." Our son and daughter are adults and independent. I like to write-especially about my research interests-deception, sarcasm, and vocal behavior. Just recently took a stab at fiction by participating in and completing the National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo) in November.
