Hello, let me introduce myself. I am Angela Young (real name) and I am a US Elections steward here at Helium.com. If you are into the US elections, you will see me around. If you see problems or have questions in regard to this leaf channel feel free to e-mail me and let me know. Working together makes Helium better for all of us. If you have title ideas, send them as well. Keeping up with the ever evolving race for nominations is daunting.

I have a wonderful husband, three grown kids and two granddaughters, and a brand new grandson. I also have a cat named Tigger who thinks I'm his mother.

I have a Masters in Education degree from the Ohio State University at Lima, and have illustrated a children's book that is still in process of publication.

I have always received positive feedback on my writing abilities, and have excellent grammar skills. I am in the process of "ghost-writing" a book with a friend, and have often edited for others.

Even though my writing skills were already good, helium has helped hone my craft, especially as geared toward internet readers. Helium has also given me many opportunities as I share my knowledge and views with others. I love debate (not argument) which is why my favorite topics to write in are Politics and Religion. I welcome feedback and comments on my work.

I am currently job hunting, either as a teacher and/or as a writer, copyeditor, editor or illustrator, after a move to a new area a year ago. I have sold two articles to outside publishers through helium. I enjoy it when others enjoy my work.

My favorite view is that of "my" birds feeding outside. I enjoy watching my cat trying to get at them almost as well. Fortunately for the birds, he is an indoor only cat with a big headache!

With the advent of a daughter-in-law and grandchildren, my life has become much more interesting. I look forward to sharing my experiences at helium.com.
