My name River. I am in the process of launching my own e-publishing company to publish new creative writers and hopefully give them a leg up. I have a weekly humor & entertainment e-zine. Nobody does death like the soaps. Mainly because nobody but soap writers have the audacity to make death so easily reversible. Anyone on a soap opera can die. The writers "pull the plug" on characters without prejudice. However, prejudice does seem to arise when that character is wildly popular, because while they are not afraid to kill them, the writers are VERY afraid not to resurrect the popular people. It might be 3 days, three weeks, three months, or three years, but they will bring the dead person backusually right when the dead person's greatest love is about to marry someone newsom...
