About me - Chris Carberry

About me

I'm a freelance writer. Been published in The International Library of Poetry via poetry.com and in Sept 07 issue of Southern Living Magazine. I also do work for academiaresearch.com and junglepage.com.

I live in the gorgeous Blue Ridge Mountains of the Appalachians and I love it, though I was born and raised in America's Heartland (Iowa). I have an eleven year old son who is the light of my life and keeps me on my toes.

I'm a suicide survivor twice over, lost my husband in 1999 and my father in October 2006. Nothing has been more difficult to live through.

I graduated college with high honors (member of National Honor Society) and would like to eventually further my degree.

I love to read, write, and do interesting research.
I'm a Carl Edwards fan, love nascar, enjoy baseball (Braves fan)and love to walk the mountain with my Catahoula Leopard Hound "Chevy."
