Hello everyone. I’m Darian Peters. I’ve been a Helium member since 2007. I have a broad background in science and technology and am educated to Ph.D. level. I have found the Helium site very useful over the years as I developed my skills as a professional freelance writer. I’ve particularly looked to develop an accessible style for writing on science, health, and technology topics.
In an effort to provide more exposure for my articles I also got into web publishing and developed my own website, www.darianpeters.com. On there you will find teasers for my articles and links to many others, presented on pages for different subject areas. I’ve also included Twitter APIs for each area based on my own lists of interesting accounts for that subject, which I’m continually updating.
I have also added a blog to my home page and will be increasingly posting about science, health, and technology topics during 2012 and linking back to what’s happening on Helium. Please check out the site and let me know what you think. I’m happy to receive tips, corrections, error reports, or ideas for accounts to add to my lists. It would be great if you follow me on Twitter as well, where I’m @DarianPeters.

The main noticeable symptom of the disease is an upward curvature of the penis beyond that which you would normally expect although it can also cause indentations in the penis sometimes. The condition is also known as penile induration or indurato penis plastica altho...
