Harvey Kunz is a medical journalist, lecturer and talk show host. Educated at Fairleigh Dickinson University in New Jersey, he was a protoge of the noted nutritionist Dr. Carlton Fredericks, and has since continued his studies in the field of complementary medicine. This interest was spurred after the death of a family member, attributed to intensive chemotherapy. His emotional plea "there has to be a better way" prompted a full-time study of non-destructive alternatives.
Mr. Kunz has authored many articles in alternative health magazines. His most ambitious project, the book 'Conquering Arthritis', was prompted by a severe personal affliction. While suffering, he encountered a person who had apparently cured himself. Investigation of the common belief that "there is no cure" seemed to be in order! An exhaustive three-year project followed, analyzing and verifying the effectiveness of therapies from around the world. The result was a total self-cure and ultimately, the publication of the book, written to help others in their quest for a pain free, active life. Mr. Kunz once again enjoys tennis, skiing, whitewater canoeing and hiking. Until recently, he hosted a health-oriented cable television program called 'This Old Body...Tips for Healthy Living', focusing on natural, non-drug approaches to both preventative and healing procedures. He now runs 'The CARE group' (Cancer Awareness Research Exchange), a support organization dedicated to studying and educating people about treatments and lifestye changes that are more effective and less damaging than chemotherapy and radiation.

If you have a degenerative disease however, you are in trouble. 80% of all deaths in this country are the result of degenerative diseases, and all that our doctors are taught (and all HMO's allow time for) is symptom treatment with prescribed drugs. Eliminating causes and then helping the body to heal itself nutritionally appears to be a lost art. Our allopathic (Drugs-R-Us) medical system is comp...
