I have been drawing since I can remember. Even before I could write, I was drawing. I grew up in San Diego, California. I won my first poetry writing contest somewhere around 12 years old.
I moved to Colorado in 1996 to go to college, and have been here ever since.
I love the arts and poetry. I am passionate about them. They are my reason for being. With out it I don't think I would of been able to survive the trials in which this life has thrown in my path.

I often find it perplexing on why so many quickly dismiss the brilliance of Van Gogh. Labeling him as a mad man, and not taking note of how trapped he was in his own brilliance. I have recently started reading through several of his letters to his brother Theo. My impression is he is like many artist (or so I assume). I know in of myself I seem to trapped by art.
