Ms Warmington has been a pioneer since leaving New york for California in the early seventies. Writing and reading have always been a passion that was not her first choice. She wanted to be able to teach Sociology at the college level, but started her schooling after raising a family. Her 3 children were homeschooled using purchased and other methods. Wanting to provide an open type of program, the children learned to read virtually on their own. With a base of accessibility to books of all types and trips to the library, there was interest in many areas. All the while, she was battling with a husband who had severe mental problems and finally for the sake of the family she had to divorce after 17 years of marriage.
Focusing on education, the children were enrolled in the local Jr.High School and High School with tested reading scores in the college range. She also returned to collge to finish her AA degree and finally a BA in Social Science with a minor in English.
From there she has sought to develop her publishable writing skills. She lives with her second husband and two step-sons in Northern California on homesteaded land that has been in her husband's family since the late 1800's.

He worked at a school where no matter what one teacher did, there were 50 more that couldn't care less and were just ""doing their job".
