following my close shave with insanity, i seem to have reached a much more stable state of mental health. although i am still too eccentric to exist in the realm of normals, it strikes me that nobody in this world is normal, and therefore i tend to conform to the large minority of friendly fluffy squirrels. and to that end ... i still need broadband. my ideal home would be in a woodland, with plenty of quiet neighbours, and my house would have a big solar panel on the roof and would have the capability to collect rainwater to purify into drinking water. i would have a big comfy armchair next to an open fire, pipe, slippers, and some alternative music playing in the background. and yes, i am a moderate left-winger.
When you hold a conversation with your cat (or indeed any other), clearly your cat isn't going to respond using the same language. But by reading your cat's body language, you can get a pretty good idea of what he's on about. For instance, if you see a cat in the street during the day, and the cat doesn't quite know whether you're a friend or not, his eyes will become rather large, like big dark circles. This is the 'fight or flight mode'. Either the cat is scared, or if this expression is exhibited in a friendly environment, the cat is about to pounce / run / do something stupid, like run...
