About me

SaurKraut is a writer and former political consultant. She has had great and varied experience in the business arena. She has won awards for her writing, but prefers anonymity when it comes to controversial subjects. She comes from a long line of writers, and grew up reading the classics. She currently lives in the Tampa Bay Area, Florida, USA, with her child and assorted pets.

My passion is ...

passion itself. I despise apathy.

I know too much about ...

a great deal, but too little about relationships.

My parents always told me ...

so many amazing and pithy things that I will have writing material 'till I'm 101 years old.

My childhood ambition ...

was to be a writer.

My favorite memory ...

is impossible to list. There are too many wonderful memories in my life.

Why I write ...

I feel an overpowering urge to communicate and instruct.

What I am reading/watching/listening to ...

is always something new.

My first job ...

was as a telemarketer! I have great sympathy for anyone who does this for a living.

My best moment ...

is the same as my favorite memory. There are many wonderful moments that I've been privileged to experience.

My inspiration ...

is my family and friends.

On December 6, 2008, Lisa Miller wrote an article in Newsweek titled "Our Mutual Joy." It is a pitiful attempt at deliberate misinterpretation and tampering of scriptures in order to fit an agenda. To start out her salvo, Lisa uses examples of polygamy and apparent lukewarm recommendations of marriage, and writes:
