Wow, where do I begin? My nature is to be a social butterfly, however I'd rather be a social pariah. I resent "pop" culture because, well, its popular. Blaming communication as a direct cause of failure in relationships is the same as blaming waking up in the morning as a direct cause of cancer. People do not get in a relationship because of direct communication issues. If they do, it is due to a partner in the relationship having issues in communicating only what their respective partner wants to hear!

I'm sorry to make "communication" appear as a scapegoat, but generally relationships end because one partner was not exactly who their partner "thought they should be".
