I live in the mountains. I am happily married to Nate. We have 4 Chidlren- 17,17,18,and 22. I do a lot of things for and with the family, but I also love writing.
I wrote my first song in 3rd grade when over at my friend's house. There was another friend there working on a song. We all tried our hand at writing a song and I found I liked it. It just seems to flow unto the page. Another remembrance is when my dear mother would get our her Reader's Digest and work on word power with me and read "Life in These United States and other short anecdotes. I loved them and I loved the time my mother spent reading to me. Those moments and many more in elementary school writing stories fueled my love for putting words together into something meaningful. A call one night after singing a song I wrote in an evening service will stay with me. It was from Minnie Stickle, now in heaven. She said I need to stick with it. She said I have a gift to use for the Lord some day. Her words still echo in my thoughts. I'll keep writing. I've made a website http://www.braceplacecreations.net. This is a place I've just recently created to share my "creativity."
I have learned about a lot of things in life: horses, writing, drawing, gardening, playing guitar, singing, crocheting, knitting, and sewing little items to give away as gifts. These are things I like to do. They may seem numerous and overwhelming to some, but these subjects give me lots of things to write and sing about.
My passion is ...
Knowing more about God because if I miss reading my Bible for a day or two, I feel "off".
I know too much about ...
When you research for writing you learn about a lot of things. Experience is also a good teacher.
My parents always told me ...
I have horses in my blood.
My childhood ambition ...

My favorite memory ...
Winter camp with the church youth. Since we went year after year it was embedded into my life. Sledding down the huge hill on an innertube all laced together with arms and boots of my friends was a blast. The youth leaders went too. We would sled until midnight.
Why I write ...
To remember. To clarify. To express myself.
What I am reading/watching/listening to ...

My first job ...

My best moment ...
A good gallop in the fall along a favorite trail when the yellow Birch leaves are falling like rain.
My inspiration ...
1 Corinthians 10:31 ....do all to the Glory of God...I write with my late brother in mind. He passed away in 1991. So, I dedicate these writings to Bruce Daniel Cuddie
To bombproof the spooky horse one must first have an understanding of horses, and If I may say this first - no horse is bomb proof. There is always the possibility that a horse, any horse, will spook. It just depends on what new "monster" in introduced into the horses view. When a person has this firmly in mind then the process of making a horse better can get underway. Working with many horses, I've found that some horses are spookier that others and those are the ones I tend to focus on. Since I don't know every horse's back ground, I can only guess the reason for the fear. Consistent wo...
