About me - Ann Richards

About me

At the age of six my sister and I were adopted by 2 wonderful people. We lived on a cattle farm where I myself was always out in the barn and the fields helping my dad. My sister and I were opposite, she enjoyed the baking the cleaning staying in the house helping my mom. I would like to say that you always hear traumatizing stories about some foster parents, but I would like to say that I my sister and I were very fortunate to have an angle at that time of our life watch over us. I believe that we are who we are today because of who we had as our teacher when we were young. If you are taught to have values, respect, appreciation and mostly love, without feeling loved it makes it impossible to have faith or hope, if you are taught to have faith and hope, and mostly believing in you, than you can find your way out of any situation. We all make bad choices in life, and we don't always pick the right partner, and maybe sometimes you keep the pattern going with choosing the wrong partner, but you have to go back into your childhood and try and make sense to why you have this same pattern? And when you figure it out, believing what your parents have taught you, than you will be a survivor. No one ever deserves to be abused by anyone.
