From experience children can do anything as long as they understand how much fun they can get out of it. With reverse psychology this is a very simple thing to do. Sports or exercises that can be done indoors and much enjoyable are very few. My favorite way of bringing children to exercise is to do some coordinated dances on their favorite songs.
