There are some things to consider before you do. 1.) Which teachers and adult chaperones will lead the trip? Do you trust them and agree with their decisions in general? 2.) Where is the trip to? Generally trips to Europe (western) are viewed as safer than trips to Central or South America or Asia. I personally enjoyed Great Britain most with students because they had an immediate connection due to language. They felt more comfortable and though I've never truly been in danger on trips overseas (chased by gypsies in Spain, a fellow student almost got run over in Spain, saw a knife hold-up ...
