To put Proposition 8 on the ballot is un-American. Utterly and absolutely un-American. The United States of American is a REPUBLIC, and our Founding Fathers deliberately created a Republic (and make no mention of Democracy) to prevent what they call a Mobocracy. We are all minorities in a sense - be it a religious, racial, sexual, or intellectual minority - but our Constitution protects us in the pursuit life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.
