Blyth owns and operates Aerie Design, an interior design business, and also serves as a Feng Shui consultant. She is formally degreed in Interior Architecture and Design and traditionally trained in Earth-based spirituality. In addition to the design business, she co-owns Gossamer Hawk, a full service metaphysical store, with her husband. Blyth has actively promoted the principles of conscious living since she opened her first lifestyle store in 1989. Blyth presents popular workshops and classes and appeared on television channels WMDT and WBOC as a holistic expert. She started freelancing as a writer in 1983.
