: About Me

I have been a carpenter and contract provider of sign and art services for 35 years. The knowledge and experiance I've gained are now available in the books and articles that I am currently writing. I have specialized in projects where recycled materials have been used as much as possible and an emphasis has been placed on both efficiency and quality of building. Over the years that I have been working I have observed many homeowners including an increasing number of middle class homeowners that could not keep up with the ever increasing cost of maintenance for their homes. These articles are primarily for those people as well as the low and fixed income households that are struggling to make ends meet.
A this time I am recovering from a serious accident and so I have plenty of time on my hands to give this project my full attention.

Since the accident that caused me to slow down 'a little' in 2006, I have been in court to try to recover money from the insurance company for the accident. It is unfortunate that I was able to observe lawyers up close while they lied, falsified evidence(including one lawyer who printed this profile page and photo shopped it to 'prove' his point) and just continually manipulated and manuevered facts and evidence through out the trial in order to get the insurance company off the hook. This was in spite of the fact that premiums were paid and the policy clearly covered workers on the job for personal injury and loss of income.

This experiance has changed my attitude and destroyed my trust in our country's legal system and in our elected officials to actually procur justice for the working people. I also work in ministry counselling people in christian and faith based situations, and have found a large percentage of homeless people that I encounter are on the street because of circumstances similar to mine. The experiances I have encountered in the last three years have changed the way I write and the way I will present my ideas.
I consider myself to be a conservationist so much of my work will involve design and construction techniques that are energy efficient and conserve resources. Hope you like what I write! Most of all, I hope that I can teach you how to ease the pressure on our environment and the drain of our natural resources.

Working for a 73 year old carpenter from Norway when I was fifteen years old. I learned alot of old time techniques.

When a building inspector said my work spoke for itself and was above reproach.

I am a christian. As a christian I am inspired by a Master builder on a universe size scale.
