About me - Harmony Barrett

About me

I am 33 years old and living in a small rural community in SW Virginia. A mother of 2, I find I am busy most of the time, but when I do have time I enjoy creating various forms of art.

Other than writing, which I have been active in since childhood, I enjoy sketching, needle craft, yarn-work, and sewing.

I love my children, and I try my very best to teach them about everything that is good in this world. I find it important to allow them to express themselves, and I encourage their talents in an effort to see them make their dreams come true.

My husband is my biggest source of inspiration. He is my hero, and I cherish our relationship above all other things. I know that without true consistency between us I would be less effective in all other aspects of my life. It is my ultimate goal to keep our marriage functioning in a positive direction well in to old age and beyond.

Staring into the mirror she only saw her flaws; the wrinkles forming at the corners of her eyes, and the dark circles under them. There was some gray starting to show in her hair. To her, this was the end of everything she had ever known in life. She had used her appeal as a means to an end. It is what fed her, paid her bills, given her hope for her future.
