Im not relativistic enough to be a universalist, but as a corrolary, Im also not ignorant enough to assume that one belief system contains all truth. What makes sense to me is to live like a rastafarian-entheogenic, veggetarian, and as close to nature as possible-and to adopt as a life philosophy the words of Jesus, and the prinicples of zen. To many, that makes me a hippy, but I hesitate to characterize myself as such because I don't feel I am that aimless; I don't reject the norm for any intrinsic purpose, but rather for the extrinsic aesthetic quality that it yields for my life and the quality thereof.
