John Dreyer spent thirty years as a senior marketing executive in the travel and entertainment industries, most recently as senior vice president of corporate communications for The Walt Disney Company.
Prior to moving to Disney's corporate headquarters, he was the head of publicity for Walt Disney World where he spearheaded media efforts for the openings of Epcot Center and The Disney MGM Studios as well as Pleasure Island and numerous resort properties.
He also worked for The Delta Queen Steamboat Company during the building and launch of The Mississippi Queen.
Currently he is a communications consultant and writer. His articles and poetry have appeared in the Christian Science Monitor, Los Angeles Times, Los Angeles Daily News, Gray's Sporting Journal, Meetings and Incentives Magazine, HR Innovator Magazine, Training Magazine, Polishing Stone Magazine, Utmost Christian Writers, War Cry, Ruminate, Live, The Standard and Spring Hill Quarterly among others.
