Welcome.

I've been writing off and on since grade school. As a single working mom, often there is only time to pen haiku-but even this brief form can be an amazing venue for the creative.

I often pray this Bible verse for myself and my children: "Oh, that You would bless me indeed, and enlarge my territory, that Your hand would be with me, and that You would keep me from evil, that I may not cause pain!."1 Chronicles 4:10(NKJV)

Mixing Metaphors Here I am, letting my thoughts stream into a longer and winding way... Am I mixing metaphors yet? Oh how I have always loved mixed metaphors. I know you aren't supposed to do such things. It simply isn't kosher.
