Nancy is a practicing Feng Shui consultant who gives regular lectures and workshops on Feng Shui Topics. Through her business, Wind Water Feng Shui and Design, she offers graphic arts and custom wall treatments utilizing traditional design techniques while incorporating Feng Shui methods.
As graduate of Savannah College of Art and Design, and The San Francisco School of Feng Shui Nancy values being able to incorporate her interests into writing, and connecting with others who share similar interests.
As a child Nancy was raised in an environment of physicians and within her career the healing aspect of her family's work has merged with her love of design. Since returning to Florida, Nancy's experience offering smart design has evolved into a philosophy on the importance of conscious design. For her this translated into a study of Feng Shui as she now incorporates into her work Feng Shui techniques such as elemental symbols applied to graphic design and chroma-therapy applied to interior spaces in the form of color, texture and imagery that nurtures not just the objectives of the commercial world, but the purpose of the individual soul. Nancy hopes to awaken the awareness of higher standards in others, as they become inspired to take a look at their surroundings and ask whether they are nurtured and supported, or hindered by their environment.
Through inspirational workshops Nancy offers informational presentations on the basics of Feng Shui-Yin and Yang and the Theory of Relativity, the natural cycle of the five elements, and the importance of empty space and the "Less is More" philosophy that stems from modern quantum physics and inspires people to clear out their clutter and re-examine their assumptions. Her methods for teaching include hands-on exercises, promoting engaging conversations among community members, and offering guidance for commonly asked questions.
After time in Georgia, Colorado, and Washington State, she made a move from the Pacific Northwest back to Florida. Wind Water Feng Shui now serves locally and online internationally.
