Previously an editor of the Mariposa Gazette and Miner, California's oldest continuously published weekly, before creating WildWind Enterprises (which is named after the house Laurie and her husband Gordon, designed and built themselves using the Law of Attraction) Laurie has had many incarnations as a writer.
Besides editing and reporting, Laurie has written television, radio and print advertising copy; published many articles on behalf of the numerous volunteer organizations with which she has been affiliated; written articles for magazine and ezines and is coming out with her fiction novel, Changing Planes later this year. Laurie lives with her husband on the Western Slope of the Sierra Nevada, just a red-tailed hawk's flight southwest of Lake Tahoe with their 3 dogs, 4 cats and a myriad of other creatures from this realm and otherwise.

Today I want to share with you a true story about the law of attraction and staying positive. Gordon, my husband, and I "re-met" in 1996 (there is a longer story to this) and we were married in 1998. He came to me because I drew him to me (and he me) using the law of attraction. I created a list (he just asked out loud) of the attributes that I wanted in my ideal "soul-mate" and I got them! Of the list I created he matched the list with a 93% rating (I'm an accountant in my day job).
