: About Me

Patty-Jean's background is in both dance and music. Dancing for over 20 years, she studied Modern and Ballet at the School of Contemporary Dancers in both of their Junior and Senior Professional programs. Other studies have included various styles of dance, pedagogy, music(voice, piano, guitar, and bodrahn). She has received training from the following, RWB's Summer Teacher's course, Granville Ferry Summer Dance Program, both of the University of Winnipeg's Faculties of Music and Dance, as well as attaining her accreditation in Kindermusik. Patty-Jean has been teaching, performing, directing, and doing choreography for over 10 years, in studios, schools, churches, and camps. She is passionate about "art that transcends glorifying the creation to that which imparts awe and wonder of the blessed Creator that is reflected through the wonders of His creation."(Rick Joyner, The Harvest). Now married, one of Patty-Jean's newest endevors have included a journey in motherhood, with a two year old in tow, and pregnant again. In Patty-Jean's spare time she has been working towards writing an early childhood music and movement curriculum.

Friday, June 10th was not overly eventful. I went for some long walks to hopefully encourage some labor action. On one of my walks, I met and had a nice visit with my friend Tami, and her new baby (born breech, and NATURALLY!). That night I had a good nights sleep (as good as one can have, when feeling 41+ weeks pregnant). I'd been having some good pre-labor contractions at regular intervals for about 2 weeks, but to my dismay (after a while), I was unimpressed with the lack of pain. As it seems, that it is the painful ones that bring baby out....so I was praying for pain...at least some p...
