The afternoon I learned the baby I was carrying was a girl, I had a minor panic attack and had to take a drive alone. Sure, it was only a sonogram, but the concept of shaping and being responsible for a Assertive, Confident Female Being sent me into a tailspin! Ironically, being a woman, I had no idea how to be a woman, my mother having left this earth when I was a kid.
