About me - Renee S

About me

Having been immersed in the publishing industry for almost a decade, I decided that it was high time I left the full-time work industry and join countless other women (and men!) in the less appreciated, homemaking trade. Besides giving me more chance to spend time with the husband and kid, it has also given me ample time to daringly venture out into projects that would otherwise have eluded me had I been working full-time. And now, besides wife, mother, cook, maid, general operations manager of the home, and an occassional freelance writer, I can proudly include aspiring children's story author and scriptwriter in my list of resume. Or, if another idea of mine takes off, also a cupcake business owner!

I always believe that once you satisfy their curiosity, they won't go out on a drinking binge behind your back and get into even more trouble. Having said this, I don't think you should encourage your children to drink alcoholic beverages before the legal age. There is a reason why the law states that only the over 18s can drink and buy alcohol, because by this stage, children would have known the difference between enjoying a good gla...
