I am a field geologist with about 16 years work experience in various sections of the mining industry. My job travels have taken me all over Australia, and I've also done fieldwork overseas (recently China and Vanuatu).
My science interests include astronomy, but I'm also very keen to keep up with most other aspects of science and the amazing developments in the broad field of science in general.
I'm also an active musician and have been involved in various aspects of music(writing, recording etc) for 20 years.
I currently reside in country NSW and assist my family in running a small cattle farm there.
My passion is ...
now
I know too much about ...
a bunch of quantities
My parents always told me ...
many things about myself
My childhood ambition ...
to keep trying
My favorite memory ...
smoking "Bagwan Rajneeshi" heads (grown near Dungog, NSW) with a bunch of pissed uni mates in 1989!
Why I write ...
Because it's pouring outta me. Plus, it's more calmly expressed by hand than by mouth................
What I am reading/watching/listening to ...
too vague, this question!
My first job ...
farmhand
My best moment ...
yet to occur
My inspiration ...
(too vague) family members, certain musicians, scientists, honourary global citizens and anyone else who's worthy of themselves

To gain entry at university level in the field of palaeontology, one must recognise that any science degree requires firm grounding in mathematics, science and English at secondary education. Other areas which do not count as prerequisite subjects but may be viewed by university entrance exam...
