About me - Pat Denehy

About me

I took a giant leap forward this year in deciding to seriously pursue my passion for writing (I also took a giant leap backward as far as monetary compensation goes). So far it's all been worth it; I wake up happy and looking forward to the day ahead.

I'm a fairly new resident of Freeport, ME (alas, I'll never be accepted as a "Mainer") and live here with my husband of nearly 30 years. We have two great kids who live out of state, Billy and Katie.

When I'm not feverishly writing, I enjoy kayaking, cross-country skiing, reading, gardening, hiking, traveling, drinking wine, and eating chocolate - not necessarily in that order.

If you're interested in reviews of the latest books, you can find my reviews on www.curledup.com. I've read some great ones lately!

She fumbled for a towel and caught her reflection in the mirror with her good eye. Damp sweat rings darkened her purple tee shirt and unruly strands of hair curled around her perspiring forehead. Kathy scowled and contemplated swallowing an entire bottle of Ibupr...
