I am an English major at the University of California Davis. My unyielding ambition is to become a successful fantasy fiction author, and learn everything I need to know to achieve this goal. I have already published a book entitled "An Unlikely Alliance," and am writing and editing subsequent novels for publication as soon as possible. I have mailed short stories all over the US in search of a magazine who approves of them. The latest recipient of my work was Asimov's Science Fiction Magazine, and although I have not yet heard from them, I'm hoping for information on how to perfect my writing.
Finding an in print publisher can be a lot of work, and it is understandable that a first-time author looking for an easy way to get his or her manuscripts to the world would turn to an online publisher. There are many reasons for this, including the hassle you have to go through to get your book in print.
