My name is Sam. My friends call me "O" for short. I'm a born and raised Oregonian. I'm a gruduate of Wyotech where I learned to work on cars: bodywork, paint, and interiors. After working as a painter's apprentice in Denver for a few months I came back to Oregon. I'm currently working as a wall-builder at the local manufactured home plant, where I frame walls all day long. I'm heading back to Denver in a couple months where I'll continue painting cars. I'm a rocker at heart. Music and guitar are my two passions in life, and are the only things I can count on other than my best friend, J. Wenz. I listen to the likes of Bullet for my Valentine, As I Lay Dying, Escape the Fate, Thrice, Senses Fail, and Avenged Sevenfold. I'm motivated. A hard worker, and a hopeless-romantic. I'm pretty much the coolest guy you'll ever meet. haha.

Having attended college for Autobody and Paint, I have a greater appreciation for Maaco, and similar shops than most. I've heard some people claim that they're the worst shop ever to have your car painted at. I've even had a friend or two who have had their vehicles painted there and after a week the paint is chipping or dulling. There's a few things you need to understand about production shops, and this article will help you attain the information needed to drive out of a shop like Maaco with an awesome paint job!
