Hi all! I'm Howard, a 46 year-old jack of all trades from Maine. I've done many different jobs in my life, including MSN tech support specialist, customer service rep for L.L. Bean, Navy jet mechanic, TSA airport security screener, painter, carpenter, boatyard worker, and many more that I can't remember, hehe. I've been involved in local theatre and music, both onstage and behind the curtain, done a bit of modeling, been in a couple of commercials... Call me a dilettante. Right now I'm concentrating on songwriting, but I thought I'd give Helium a go, it's a perfect fit with my insomnia!
My passion is ...
...music
I know too much about ...
...not enough.
My parents always told me ...
...you could do anything if you'd put a little effort into it.
My childhood ambition ...
...was to be a pilot.
My favorite memory ...
...was hearing a laugh.
Why I write ...
...it's a compulsion. Like projectile vomiting.
What I am reading/watching/listening to ...
... reading "Nelson's Trafalgar"
My first job ...
...was cementing insoles into moccasins for $1.65/hr when I was 13.
My best moment ...
...has yet to occur. I hope.
My inspiration ...
...is the disintegration of my psyche.
Jailbreak A life sentence without parole That's how I was living Resigned to it A ten-foot cell of loneliness I convinced myself I deserved it I was doing the time I must have done the crime Not designed for friendship Missing some crucial human quality Everything confirmed it Everyone confirmed it Once in a while I heard footsteps The jingle of keys But they never stopped At my door And I stopped running to see Became ok with it I must be where I belonged Stockholm Syndrome Almost happy Until the footsteps stopped Outside my door I didn't react at first Must be hearing things No visitors ...
