About me

Becky (Gill) McVicker was born in Seattle, Washington, raised in both Kirkland, Washington and Wrangell, Alaska. Married for 11 years to the father of two children, Danielle, age 12 and Devon, age 8. Divorced and rapidly moved into another relationship resulting in a third child, Mackenzie, age 3. I've always had a passion for writing and it has been a goal to actually write a book. I figured I'd start here. I have had my fair share of ups and downs. Dealing with an alcoholic husband, a recovering drug addict 2nd husband, a step son who would rather see me poked to death with thumbtacks and the lovely blended family saga. I have the worlds funniest best friend whom I draw most my entertainment from as she always makes me laugh. I have truly been blessed in my life with good people and fantastic children. Yet, I do have my closet full of bad events that give me the passion and know how to write what I will write.

This is a common occurence in my house. I thought it was just my kid being overly dramatic and high strung. But no, apparently it is totally normal.
