About me

What can I say? My dream has always been to write a book, which I have already begun.

I am very content with my life. I do the best I can with what I know how at any given moment, but I am always incorporating new knowledge and weeding out other information that no longer serves me. I learn from EVERYTHING and EVERYONE. Life is an incredible journey so you can either sit back and enjoy the ride or take the bull by the horns and re-create it every moment. I fluctuate between the two, but my goal is to manifest what I would like in my life. Afterall, if we are created in God's image, then God has given us this power, too! How exciting is that?!

P.S. - The photo is about 10 years old, but it's the only one I have. I'm the photographer of the family so you won't see too many pics of me around.

Briefly me

My passion is ...

Eckankar, family, writing, photography, and life in general.

I know too much about ...

Well, you can't really ever know enough. I am always in the process of learning and growing. Wouldn't want it any other way.

My parents always told me ...

a lot of things that weren't true, but it's all good because it has motivated me in the pursuit of truth.

My childhood ambition ...

was to serve God and others. My idol was Mother Theresa. Now I realize that I don't have to leave the country to do that. I can serve in many ways, and I am.

My favorite memory ...

is the loving touch of my Nan caressing my hair. She was and will always be my inspiration.

Why I write ...

because it's what I have always done, and I love it! I began journaling when I was old enough to write, and I haven't stopped since. It's a wonderful outlet; a portal into self-discovery and into other worlds.

What I am reading/watching/listening to ...

"Wind of Change" written by Harold Klemp.

My first job ...

was babysitting. I have always loved kids, especially the little ones. They are so pure and innocent, but there is also an incredible wisdom about them.

My best moment ...

was when I finally got "Soul exists because God loves it."

My inspiration ...

Besides, my Nan...I would say my family. I am always learning something from them about myself and others. Also, Eckankar because it has opened so many doors to me in understanding myself and others. Finding Eckankar was like coming home for me because it was everything I had always believed in.

Eating an Orange Rough orange skin Resists my touch As my hands fumble To reveal its softness. Bit by bit My fingers dig Into its hard outer covering Reaching for buried treasure lying within. Piece by piece No longer struggling It cannot. Wishing only to submit, To surrender, Easily peeling away. Soft flesh explodes! I taste its sweetness upon my lips. Juices running down my face Savoring each delicate droplet Melting upon my taste buds In wild ecstasy. Trickling Along my fingertips. Succumbing to this moment Where love appears as an orange To fill and nourish me While ravishing my senses.
