: About Me

I am a New York based, New Orleans born poet, lyracist, and otherwise creative writer. I began writing, as best I can remember, about 22 years ago. What began as a fling with poetry has burgeoned into a lasting marriage with words. I am also member of the Brooklyn based hip hop crew "ESSOILL" due to release our second project "One Eyed Kings" in time for summer 2007. Why I write ...

I write because it balances me, and it is necessary for my survival.

I am reading mostly non-fiction now, watching lost, and listening to new Nas and Jay-Z.

My first job ...

I worked at an A@W hotdog stand in the mall.

My best moment ...

is a reoccuring moment. These are the moments I can share my writings with a crowd of listeners.

My inspiration ...

My greatest inspiration has been my parents, next sister, and friends.
