I'm the founder of Grrl.com. I recently wrote the book You Can Draw Star Wars and published a book called Never Threaten to Eat Your Co-Workers: Best of Blogs (both available on Amazon.com). And I've written for a bunch for magazines like BUST, Star Wars Insider, Wired and Organic Gardening - and plenty of underground zines. Sometimes I end up on TV as a "pop culture media pundit" for CNN, E! and BBC. I'm featured in Entertainment Weekly magazine (Oct. 13, 2006) for my Bettie Page fandom. Hosted the music video shows "Teletunes" (Denver) and "Subculture" (San Francisco), as well as 2 video podcast shows called "Ask Bonnie" and "Ask @Sock." My dayjob is for Lucasfilm writing on starwars.com. And no, I don't see Darth Vader at the watercooler. But I do interview bands and celebs about why they love the saga in a section called Star Wars Rocks.

My plant addiction began at a young age as I helped my dad plant carrots in the family garden, or worked side by side with my mom as she harvested seeds from our sunflowers growing bt the mailbox. Each plant is a deep "seeded" memory for me. But here's a brief (and ever-changing) list of the plants that mean most to me. Common name: Saddleleaf philodendron Botanic name: Philodendron selloum Plant family...
