I am a sixty year old grandmother of seventeen crandchildren. I love to write. I have been published in six of the Chicken Soup for the Soul books, some of these have two of my articles in them.
I have a novel, Stolen Moments, with a sequel coming out soon. I have published two Children's Books. "How Much Can Teddy Bear? and "Nobody's Lion."
I was hired last year by a publisher in New York to write two books for them, "Voices of Alcohol" and "Voices of Lung Cancer" which are coming out in May of this year. I write for about 4o magazines.
I teach on-line writing at Writer's College. I love to write! I own a bookstore in our town, and also love to read.
I have ms and lupus, and get much of my reward from writing by using my feelings in my heart to touch other people's hearts.

Writing can be hard work, or it can be fun . . . either way it is a challenge. Not everyone can get the words from their heads to a paper. Too often it is a person's struggle to perfect their grammar and punctuation that keeps him from writing something very meaningful. I don't believe that you have to be an English major to write a heart-wrenching story, about a humorous happening, or a first person account of something that happened to you.
