Hello everyone.. I am a twenty five year old Christian woman from the Seattle, WA area. I have been on Helium.com since February of 2007, and I love it here! I rediscovered, and developed a passion for poetry on this website, and you will find me mostly spending time in the Poetry Coffeehouse. The people there have helped me to learn and grow as a poet, and even more than that, they have been and are my first writing family... for that, I will always be grateful. I went to my first writers group recently, and am planning to make it a weekly ritual. If you argue politics with me, you will see my unabashedly stubborn side, leaning very much to the conservative. The most important thing in life is my Christian walk with the Lord, we well as my family and friends. My greatest artistic love, besides writing, is music in all forms and expressions-and I sing at the local nursing home every other Sunday service. I read two of my poems at a coffehouse recently, and enjoyed myself a lot. I hope to go back to college or university at some point, to study for editing or researching, as well as to improve my creative wriitng skills. If you want to know anything else, just message me. Goodbye for now, and thanks for stopping by!

Forgiveness was costly... much more so than Mary's perfume. It cost our dear Lord everything, almost more than He could bear and pained the heart of Jesus more than the nails that caused Him to bleed. It truly is the love that is worth than diamonds, silver, or gold. Forgiveness is sweet. The kind sun that burst onto the screen of the mellow sky or a love letter has nothing on it. Evil may be a part of life, it always has been- but forgiveness is that cool, clear renewing stream of grace. Forgiveness is forever. Heaven, our eternal joy and undying peace is waiting for us.
