About me - Bruce W. Coffman

About me

I was born and raised in Morganfield, Kentucky. I attended the University of Evansville (UE) where I was fortunate enough to study under the late Dr. Caroline Dow who was one of the most brilliant women I have ever met. I received a B.S. degree in advertising and public relations from UE in 1992.

I have worked so many different types of jobs it would bore you if I tried to list them. I think I have finally come to terms with the fact that I am a classic malcontent and don't work well for other people. Currently I own and operate a consignment shop called Bettye's Closet which was named for my late mother, Bettye R. Coffman. Learn more about that by checking out my favorite links.

I have published news and feature articles in numerous local and regional newspapers and magazines as well as an internationally-distributed magazine called "Magical Blend." My dream/goal/ambition is to one day have a novel accepted by a major publisher.

Sometimes I just HAVE to.
