About me - Christopher Mcilquham

About me

Not much to say really. I'm a 18-year-old male from Wales, UK. I'm into most music except rap, R and B, hip-hip, dance etc. I play bass guitar, have been since May 2006 and i basically enjoy the usual joys of teenage life. I love reading, Terry Pratchett being my favourite author, and I enjoy creative writing. I've been working on-and-off on a novel for the past year or so but recently lost a lot of the work but I still have hope of it being in storage. But for now, that's all the info I'm giving on my amazing jet set life as I'm stumped for words...writers block would ya believe?!

My life starts in 2009 and is currently living in Elko, Nevada. No, I haven't lost my mind, its just that the most amazing girl ever (the one i love funnily enough) lives there and im gonna move in with her in 2009

Barker revolves the book around real and fictional characters in Regeneration and the common theme is how each person has been directly, or indirectly, affected by the war. Also, the majority of the novel is set in a psychiatric hospital treating war effects.

As I have already said, many of the characters in the novel have in some way been affected by the war. Burns, for example, cannot eat. Burns had landed on a decomposing German corpse and its rott...
