I am a genealogist and family historian as well as a freelance writer. Additionally, I have had fulfilling careers in both real estate and law.
My free time is devoted to my family, my husband, my dog and the renovation of a historical church which is our home.
My main genre of interest is non-fiction based articles and reviews. My tastes, which are wide and varied, include but are not limited to history, genealogy, gardening, nature, books, music, movies, science, health, business and cooking.

My parents told me lots of things but the first things that come to mind are to sit up straight, don't bite your nails and eat all of your vegetables. Humor aside, my mom always impressed upon me that I can be anything I want to be so have high aspirations.

My favorite books are non-fiction and mysteries. Since we don't have TV reception, I mostly watch DVDs. I love all kinds of music except country, hip-hop/rap and hardcore opera.

My first job was selling vegetables from my grandfather's garden on our corner at age seven.

Knowlege and faith are my inspirations.
Every person has a story to tell. She only hopes that hers will not be forgotten when she is gone. She goes through life hoping she makes a difference. She touches the lives of those around her but never really follows the passion of her dreams. There was so much that she wanted to do with her life. A life that has all but passed her by now.
