I am a Native American mixed blood and have written all my life, for different reasons. I am an artist and a writer, and I do public speaking on Native American Culture. I have a book that is presently at the publishers, have had seveal poems published and win awards and acheived awards with my art work also.

I have a BA degree in Art with a specialization in education, Minors in communicaton and religion and graduated Magna Cum Laude. I owned and operated my own
Hair Salon until a back injury from a car wreck pulled the rug out from under my life and had me reevaluating and rearrangeing it all.

I have turned more to my writing than ever before
and am working on my second book. It will have a combination of writing and art work and again...have that Native American outlook.

The Youth of today are no more lost than the youth of any other generation. However, the culture they live in is loosing many things that are important, and the youth brought up in that culture are a mere reflection of this fact. I saw an advertisement the other day that was showing a series of photographs. One of the photos was a picture of 4 teenage girls all sitting in a row on a bench, on a beautiful summer day in a park.
