Let's see, what I can tell you about the person that is me? Well, I can relay that I have a deep and profound desire to have my opinions heard, and it helps that I actually try to understand what it is that I talk about. I'm, how do you say, a Progressive-style shopper. I do the research, I crunch the numbers and I want to share my findings with you.
Yeah, well, I like to write creatively (no pun intended) also. There is some poetry hanging around out there in the world with my stamp on it. For a child many of the themes in the movie based on Dick-King Smith's original work of fiction resonate strongly. Though the movie has been called predictable, and is arguably so, it has many strong points and is worth the viewing, particular for viewers in the 7-12 year range. Even the adults in the audience will find themselves identifying with the idyllic relationship between young Angus, admirably portrayed by relative newcomer to the screen Alex Etel; perhaps evoking memories of Lassie, or more aptly, Flipper.
