There are hundreds of cereal varieties. How can we choose one?

There are two related variables that go into my decision: price and nutrition. Below I will briefly discuss these variables, including ways that you can analyze each, and then I will conclude with my personal favorites.

1. Price

Companies take grains like corn and wheat and "add value" so that egregious prices seem rational. Companies basically reformat the grain through processing and marketing the final product.
