We were down in Mexico vacationing near Cozumel when we decided to take a bus trip one day down to the Mayan ruins. We were going to visit the ancient city of Tulum. The bus ride to Tulum was pretty uneventful. We kept driving past all these resort areas being built up along the beautiful coastline of the Yucatan. I wanted to drive into some of them and look around but the tour guide said we had no time. Later we did rent a car and do just that.
