: About Me

I'm a USAF retiree with 30+ years of service. My grade at retirement was E-9 or Chief Master Sergeant. Career areas were aircraft maintenance and aircraft quality assurance. Types of aircraft possessed by the units I was assigned to were the B-29, B-47, C-97, C-124, T-33, F-100, F-105, F4 and the F-15.

Was also employed as a civilian by Lockheed Aircraft Corporation, Georgia Division. While there I was assigned as a journeyman level flight-line mechanic, flight-line mechanic lead-man and as a production flight-line supervisor. Aircraft worked on while At Lockheed were the C-141 and the C-5A. I hold an FAA airframe and powerplant mechanics license.

I'm an American history buff and have strong opinions in that area as well as in our problematic political system. I love to write within the areas in which I have at least some knowledge or expertise. There is much wrong on this planet that we call Earth. It is my fervent hope that the changes that must come be influenced in some small measure by the thoughts and opinions expressed in my writing.

What Arizona has done in passing SB 1070 should be very evident to thinking Americans. This state bill will hopefully result in reducing the number of illegal immigrants coming across the border from Mexico. Arizona is a state that is not only fighting for its own residents but for all Americans regardless of the state they live in.
