I'm a writer of 20 years. Originally, I was a Research Assistant with a B.S. in Biology who thought I wanted to go to med school - but that changed once I found the right man and had a family (you know how it is). Then, I went on to Syracuse University in the middle of the snowbelt in Upstate New York where I froze a master's degree of Communications into my brain. Ever since then, I've never been the same. I keep writing - not big stuff, but lots of little things that cross my mind. I have fun at it - so I've been doing it for the past 2 decades. I still don't know what I want to be when I grow up, but this writing thing is keeping me busy and it makes me smile ... so I guess I'll just keep doing what I'm doing. I also work as a freelance editor. And when I'm not playing with words, I'm a proud mom of one daughter, two little budgies,and a schiperke pound puppy. I've been blessed!
Americans lost a massive part of thier heart on that sunny day in September 2001. Our very souls were seared when those Towers fell, the Pentagon was smashed, and that plane full of heroes was scattered upon Pennsylvania's landscape. And we grieved one and all as mothers, fathers, sisters, brothers, and friends of fellow Americans we knew - or never got to know - died in vain. And we became one nation under God for the first time in our lives and we prayed together, cried together, suffered the pain of loss together, and finally moved on together in the process of healing - not forgettin...
