I have studied various forms of psychotherapy. I am qualified in solution-focused psychotherapy (using the Human Givens approach that incorporates an adapted, updated and improved blend of cognitive, behavioural and interpersonal therapies), also relaxation therapy, forms of meditation, Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) and different types of hypnotherapy.
I have worked with adults with mental ill health from schizophrenia to manic depression. I also have experience of effective team management in hectic stressful environments. In recent years I have worked closely with children & young people that exhibit challenging and sometimes very aggressive, behavioural and emotional difficulties and the adults involved in their care. I also helped with setting up a therapeutic children's home.
I regularly help people to make fast, effective, permanent changes to their lives. I am a conflict resolution, behaviour management Instructor and have studied subjects as diverse as Parapsychology to Quantum Physics.
