About me

Hello. I am a married twenty-nine year old woman. I work as an Office Manager for a small, family owned manufacturing business. I've been at my job for over three years and I love my job. I've been married for two years but I've been with my husband for nine years total. He is my everything, my life, my rock, and I'm so happy he married me.

My husband and I have been trying to get pregnant for two years. It has been a really rough. Especially since everyone I know gets pregnant by their significant others breathing on them. At times I feel like I am being punished. He and I have both had tests done to rule out any problems that may be causing it but we are both okay. My doctor has suggested invetro but I am in no rush to have that done. I would rather get pregnant the old-fashioned way. So since we don't have kids yet, I have a mini zoo at my house. We have three cats and two dogs. They are my babies.

I have loved to write since I can remember. I think it all started when my father bought me my first diary. Since the first diary, I have filled probably twenty more. I find it easier to communicate in writing versus talking. I have ADD and find it hard to verbalize thoughts in my head because they come very fast and I forget my train of thought so often. I much rather type out my thoughts because my hands typing can keep up with my brain.

I was diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder a few years ago. I didn't believe it at first but after two more doctors diagnosed me with the same things, I started to believe it. I realized how sick I was when I started taking medications. I felt like a completely different person and my life improved drastically. Even my mother, who would not even keep asprin in the house growing up, begs me to keep up with my meds. I was later diagnosed with ADD and Post Traumatic Stress disorder as well.

My future goals include writing a book and then trying to get the book published. Idealy the book would contain all my life stories from my journals. I don't think I could write fiction. I did write a piece that was published in the first issue of, "The Invisible Fire Journal." It is a one-hundred page literary journal. All the submissions and artwork in the journal is by people suffering with all different kinds of mental disorders including, Bipolar Disorder, PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder), etc... Having something that I wrote published for the public to read was really really exciting.

MySpace.com is Not Just for Predators The purpose of this editorial is to hopefully get some good recognition to the web site MySpace.com. It has become a satire for comedic shows such as Mad TV and is continuously show on the news in a negative light as being only a place for predators. While yes, it has been found that there are specific cases of the forum for pedophiles and things of that nature and that should by no means be taken lightly. But I want to also remind the public that when America Online was introduced to the public, these horrific predators were found to be preying on tee...
