James Pack was born in Loma Linda, California on September 27, 1986. After a couple of years, he and his family moved to Perrysburg, Ohio. After a short time, they moved again to Mississippi, then to North Carolina. This nomadic lifestyle continued until June of 1992 when they settled in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. It was here that James spent most of his life. After finishing elementary school in the spring of 1998, he was accepted into a newly established magnet school for gifted children. The first two years were fraught with many new obstacles; Algebra, Ancient Latin, French, as well as the growing tension of home life. It was during this time in his life that many of the problems his parents had had in the past and present were starting to surface. He switched schools in the fall of 2000 during his 8th grade year. With the growing issues at home, he began a rebellious period and now that he was attending a public school again, there was no pressure to strive for greatness. His parents finally split up and his father began dating someone else, though his parents were not officially divorced yet.
Early in 2002, his father and girlfriend decided to move to Phoenix, Arizona, where she was from. Once again, issues arose between his father and girlfriend, so James was sent back to Oklahoma alone while his father kept working and tried to patch things up with his girlfriend. James eventually went back to Arizona. The trip between Oklahoma and Arizona was made just over half a dozen times with eight months. In September of 2002, while attending his third high school, James wrote his very first poem "Steps to Insanity." A few weeks later, he was back on the road to Oklahoma with his father and girlfriend and her two children. On his sixteenth birthday, James spent the day a few miles outside of Albuquerque, New Mexico. The truck they had been driving overheatedagain! The engine was in great need of repair and it was a miracle they made it as far as they did. While most people on their sixteenth were going to get their driver's license, James was working on engines. At that time, he knew more about fixing automobiles than driving them, and he didn't know that much about fixing them.
He enrolled into his fourth high school in October of 2002 and there he stayed until he graduated in June of 2005. After high school, James attended a junior college in northern Oklahoma and began studying technical theatre. He became the first person in his family to receive a college degree in April of 2007 with his Associates Degree in Technical Theatre. He now resides in Tucson, Arizona where he attends the University of Arizona to complete his Bachelor's Degree in Theatre Arts Design Technology. He hopes to one day run his own production company that produces theatrical shows and films.
